Really good Dining Options

The food here was impressive, with a wide variety of restaurants offering everything from fresh seafood to delicious steaks. We particularly loved the Rodizio (Brazilian Steakhouse) with its excellent service and delectable meats. The breakfasts at the buffet were fantastic too, featuring made-to-order omelets and many fresh options. Dining felt special at each a la carte restaurant, making our meals nice.

Fun for the Kids

The kids' area was a big hit during our visit! With plenty of activities including water slides and games, my children were never bored. They loved the kids' pools, and the animation team did a great job engaging everyone with fun exercises and games each day. It was perfect to relax knowing my kids were having such a good time.

Amazing Spa Experience

I indulged in the spa's hydrotherapy session and it was truly refreshing! The ambiance was relaxing and the facilities were well-maintained. After a long day in the sun, spending time in the hot tubs and enjoying the citrus-scented showers was just what I needed. Highly recommend if you seek a little pampering during your stay.

Spacious and Comfortable Rooms

Our room was spacious and well-appointed, perfect for our family of five. The beds were comfortable, and waking up to the view of the ocean was lovely! I especially appreciated having a separate walk-in shower and bathtub in the bathroom, adding to the comfort of our stay. The attention to detail in the room made me feel right at home.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel! The property is beautiful, the staff went above and beyond, and the beach was a highlight with great snorkeling opportunities. However, we experienced some frustrating moments with the a-la-carte dining and the check-in process was a bit lengthy. Overall, it was a memorable vacation, just a few improvements needed.

Our family vacation at the Barcelo Maya Palace was mixed. While the pools and children's water slides were fantastic and the resort grounds were beautifully maintained, the rocky beach and lack of excellent dining options made for a less than perfect experience. Some aspects like the service were great, but overall, I wouldn't say it was a place I'd return to.

Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The grounds were beautiful, and there were several amazing dining options, with friendly service that made our experience enjoyable. However, we did encounter issues with housekeeping that detracted from the overall experience, and the beach on one side of the resort was not as nice as the other. Still, the large area allowed for lots of activity with the family, and we are looking forward to returning.
